Lots to say so little time!

I am happy to report that Little G has settled well ( or am I ??? why isn't he missing me ?) he has informed me that he has done 2 wees , eats lots of toast, spills milk down his trousers and learnt a new phrase - bestest friend , currently any random child , adult or animal we pass on the street is his bestest friend- very cute!!

I did have a heart stopping moment on friday , the nursery was running a coffee morning for macmillan ,I went along ,had a cuppa went to look for G outside. There he was predictably dressed as a pirate ( G has 4 main states of dress, naked , semi naked- no pants, pirate, or super hero) I watched for a while as he flitted from slide to ship to shop, he then to my horror proceeded to pick up a huge spacehopper and dangle it over the head of a little girl who was busy chatting to a friend , he had a very wicked grin on his face and I knew exactly what his intentions were! I was too far away to stop him , but just at that moment the little girl looked up ,turned round and gave G what for and he walked away rather sheepishly- ha that will teach you little man - dont mess with the girls.!


Had a weekend of parties, Happy Birthday to Noo my niece who is now 5 and what a busy but fun party. I have, amongst the parties, dog walks and school runs got lots made my crate is now full with 65 felt brooches ,all hand sewn not bad ehh! how I would love to show you a photo but the camera  needs charging and I dont know where it is - maybe I will add in later.  Have now started on  button jewellery ,again will post photos, am psyching myself up for the mammoth task of Christmas decs - may need to enrol the help of my wonderful mum.

TOP TIP OF THE WEEK= in large tescos they are doing cherry tomato pick and mix I had a massive bag about 4 times the amount in a pack and it only cost 81 p  and they were delicious!!!!

I am a lucky girl this is my new sewing box I had from my family for my birthday do you think I talk about buttons a lot??

Okay so its not that pretty and its well used but my I love my yankee candle cake burner, with lots of children and a dog this house can get a little stinky and this always saves the day my favourite smell is sweetpea.
