However on a positive note, I have an idea I hope you like it - take part and not just think I am a little insane . Just before Christmas someone asked me to make her daughter a posh pig plushie which I did with apprehension but really enjoyed doing it -the challenge and experimenting. So I am going to do a giveaway with a difference hopefully once a month - the first starting today- you tell me what you would like me to make you and I will randomly pick one from my giveaway skirt and make it for you within in a month - it can be a brooch , a hair accessory, a plushie/softie, you can be as specific or as vague as you like ie. a purple sad dog or a felt russian doll brooch with yellow and pink in it about 8cms tall - but there are a few rules;
1,Nothing over 10 inches tall
2. Something made with felt -buttons etc you know what I work with by now
3. End date will be Saturday 18th January
4. Please keep in mind all I make is handsewn .
Is this a good idea or have I just had too much gin over the festive period? Get thinking be imaginative - a little silly if you like the more colourful the better .
This is what I have been working on in the last week, there will be more photos to show - its different to my usual but I fancied a change - they need a little tidying up and remain nameless but are quite cute I hope you agree . They come as a pair and in a variety of colours and are completely my own design - let me know what you think as honestly as you dare - would it be worth putting them on Folksy?

Ok here's a challenge .... I'm re-designing my website and planning on (finally) opening my etsy shop and I'm working on my logo and branding and one of the things I want is a 'cute' version of me. So if I were to send you a pic could you do a mini felt Michelle ... what do you think? Are you reaching for the gin ??? :o) Michelle x

Hmmmm as I was reading I couldn't think what I would like but it's come to me.... a cute mushroom character.....I don't know if that's just me going crazy now!!

I love them! I cut my daughters fringe once and kept getting it wrong and it got shorter and shorter. So funny, although she was not amused. Funnily enough she is called Victoria! suzie. xxx
Love Michelle's idea of mini me's. Can you make Menna and Catrin by July? :-)
Think the two characters would do well. You could write a little story book to go with them or am I going to far now?
Anyway my idea is 2 felt hamsters (chinese ones) and 2 guines pigs (the long hair ones). Or I could do with a really lovely pot/box/pen holder thingy for my desk, come to think of it so could Menna.

My birthday is in March - so you'd have loads of time to make me a lovely felt fish, pisces of course. My thought is that for you this could lead in to a zodiac collection... rams, crabs, bulls errmm lions etc - all with your cute faces stitched in.

Mmmmmm, joking aside, I think I would really love a cute, don't know if you can do it with felt but I can see it now in my imagination and it looks kinda cute, little boys felt tie, you know with the elastic to go round the collar, really jazzy with loads of cool buttons on and his name hand sewn at the bottom. Ohooo dear am I getting carried away. Maybe I should make it simple ;o)
Something made out of felt that a three year old cool dude boy could wear, a cool retro style badge would be nice for his blazer, hint hint :)

Ohooo and yes get those pretties on Folksy, it would be rood not to :)

I really need a needlebook, and can't be bothered making one for myself, now that I have given all mine away. I would love to see what design you come up with. Oh, and colours would be pink, red and blue :)
Hello! Just returning the visit! Great give away idea - I think I'd like some fabulous ponytail bands (for myself!) as my girls have lots and I just make do with boring elastics!
Hellooooo, I don't know how I managed to miss your post. I am still smiling about the haircut. I did exactly the same with my eldest. I now DO NOT touch the boys hair and give Emily the slightest trim as I see fit.
I think your little felties are adorable and definately NEED to go on Folksy.
If I were to be chosen for your giveaway I would love a pretty door stop to stop my children from slamming my lounge door.

Hope I'm not too late to enter your giveaway! I loved your felt robin at christmas so much so i know anything you make would be lovely.
I think i'd have to choose a tortoise as i really want a real one but a felt one but would make do for now!
I love all things felt and love your pieces, now would I want practical or not. I would like something to look at everyday and make me smile, oh what a choice, an iphone case, something to keep my hair out of my eyes, a tissue case, a big fat white cat. I am not sure, but oh anything just for me!!
