Things we love in our house.

We love Widget and friends and are slowly but surely gathering a good collection

We have Loralie,Watson,Wol,Private B and George the thnake, if you too fancy starting a collection have a look here . Anna is one clever lady and we love her bunnies .

Way back in January we went to Cardiff with my nieces to Cardiff museum to see a exhibition on my absolute  FaVoUrItE childrens author in fact scrap that , lets just say author because I enjoy her work just as much as my children

My eldest loves Clarice Bean ,there have been occasions where I have not been able to continue reading these stories due to the fits of giggles they tend to bring on,

Little G got to dress up as an alligator,

I want one !!

The princess and the pea - how amazing is this !!The girlies played for ages .

An actual scene from the book

I aBsOlUtElY love her artwork ,and reading about how she goes about it was soooo interesting - how I
would love to have a talent like hers.

Little Miss have a quick rest .We all enjoyed ,all learnt something and all agreed that Lauren Childs is the BeSt.

As you know I love buttons , I use them on brooches, jewelleryand my creatures, my daughters love sorting them, Little G howevere as you can see above has a complete new use for them -beds for his people !!

Two new makes

Matilda the Owl

and  a new design ,

Tallulah the mousie - what do you think of her all comments welcome !! She was born out of the need to use up the long thin sleeves from the upcycled jumpers I use .

Hope you had a good weekend and a nice Valentines day . Can i just say thanks to Black Cats Whiskers
for giving me a sunshine award - it wa sa while back so I feel bad for not mentioning it , especially as it is my first - so thank you  x x x

  1. Oh yeeeaaahhh. That is just the best exhibition. We went to see it when it was on in the art gallery in Manchester. I just loved how "hands On" it was. The kids all had a ball.
I too love the work of Clarence Bean. She is amazing.
I adore your new additions, especially mousie.
Hope you have had a fun day.
